Hi Diane, I just wanted to let you know, Zinger is wonderful and gorgeous!! He has the ruddy color I desired. His personality and his love is something to be said. I've been clipping his claws and a big thanks to you because he lets me do it. He just purrs. You have a gift with your kittens and it shows. Great everything!
He is loved so very much and has brought me so much happiness. He is very happy in his new home and purrs tons to let me know. I call him Mr. Love Bug.
You can be sure this aby kitten is in a house full of love, care and playfulness. He loves his toys, especially the soft furry ones. He's not too big on rolling toys, but loves his little fur mouse and my satin robe.
I will be sending you his picture later this week. Thank you so much for the wonderful gift of Mr. Purrsonality ! I couldn't have asked for a better kitten. Talk to you soon!

Hi Diane,
Thank you again for 'Lefty' - he is integrating very well into our household. We have renamed him Sawyer (as in Tom Sawyer). He still sleeps right next to my head every night, and is still exploring the house during the day. He gets along well with our other two cats, and has even been playing with them. Our big black cat, Zorro, in particular loves playing chase and king of the scratching post with him.
We just adore him - he's a fabulous cat, and wanted you to know how happy he and we are! And of course he passed his vet check with flying colors. Thanks again! Here is a picture of Zorro and Sawyer. I'll have to see if I can get a better one for you.
Gratefully,
Kay
Diane, thanks for the link to my Somali's full brother. We are probably going to name this boy Blazing Orange Cloud, and call him Blaze. He has taken over the house, and is instructing us well. Additionally, he is very loving and wants to play all the time. I am very glad that he was PK clear, but I hate that the other two were not clear. From time to time, I will send you updates on him as I am sure you will want to know how he is doing and his show career. Thanks for entrusting us with this wonderful boy, Anne
Hi Diane,I know it’s been a while but I wanted to send you a couple pictures of Tango (Fuzzy’s child). I love him a ton and he is a bundle of energy. These pictures were taken from my phone around a month and a half ago so they’re not the clearest. He’s also grown a bit since but he’s still on the petit side. He eats well though and is very healthy. I am so happy with him and we have a lot of fun together. My whole family just loves him (when they’ve come to visit) and he takes very well to people. Thanks so much for helping to bring this little bundle of joy into my life. I hope you’re doing well and I’ll send you some more pictures later. I’m taking him in to get fixed next month as he’ll be hitting 6 months.Take care,Beth
Hi Diane,
Just a short note to tell you Kate is awesome. You were right, she is fearless, tearing around the condo like a maniac! Today is her 14-week birthday and she is growing like a weed. I think she is going to be a beautiful fawn. The white around her eyes is striking. She and Reggie have a great time playing and causing havoc. Yesterday when I woke up and went into my bathroom, there she was, in the middle of a foot and a half pile of toilet paper just having the grandest time! Needless to say, the TP is now kept on the vanity, not on the roller!
Thanks so much for allowing me to adopt her. She has been so great to have around, and I'm convinced it's the best thing that could have happened to Reggie. He really adores her and grooms her until she lets him know she's had enough. Haven't taken photos yet, that's one of my projects for this weekend. Will send when I have some.
Have a great holiday, and thanks again!
Leslie
Hi Diane
My boy is doing well; has grown a lot stronger & coordinated. He is really smart & outgoing; never had a shy moment either with people or cats. The last few days his eye color has changed and his face is starting to look more adult. I thought you might like to see the progress so attached are photos at 12 weeks. I think he's the greatest!!
Thanks again for letting me have him. I think I'm going to name him Jasper (means "treasure" and that he is).
Michele
Hello Diane:
It's been a couple of weeks and I thought I would drop you a note as to the kitten, Duma. He has crawled, purred, jumped, twisted, spun, chirruped and rolled his way into every heart in the family!!! He uses his litter box and eats his "three squares" heartily each day. Last week he had his first visit to the vet and received his shot, in the state of Maryland it is law that every cat and dog be vaccinated against rabies, so he is going to HAVE one. The vet was out of town and I was very lucky to have his relief be a local vet who specializes in cats. She gave him a glowing bill of health and condition and he managed to make her fall in love him as well! He did have to have an anal gland expression which he did not seem to enjoy, but I will admit his backside smelled much better after. He will be scheduled for a neuter at four months.
I can't thank you enough for your skill at rearing such an endearing kitten. I have never had such sweetheart of a kitten - he is so smart and training appears to be easy. Duma is also such a lovely sight and everybody who sees him remarks on him with hearty praise.
You can rest assured that your little "big boy" is well loved and cared for. Thank you.
Dear Diane,
I had written you over a year ago about my wonderful cat Meroe that came from your cattery. Sadly he died shortly after his 17th birthday which was March 17 2006. He was a great friend, and is much missed. My Vet was amazed at how long he lived and how healthy he was. I always said he was "abyssinious robustus". Below is a picture of him from January 2006. He didn't start looking like an old cat until about a week before he died. He was a son of your blue Smokey Top Gun (something like that). If I ever decide to get another Abyssinian, you will certainly hear from me!
Regards,
Bobbi
Hi Diane,Three years ago, I picked up a ruddy abby from your cattery. My mother and calico cat had just died, and I needed a companion. Max, the kitten you gave me, is now 3 and is a delightful, loving companion. I’ve never had so much fun with a cat; he’s loyal, loving, and lively… an emphasis on lively. I’ve kept him indoors (although I did try to lease train him earlier) and he seems to have thrived. He is king of our house and he is a perfect abby!I’m thinking of getting Max a companion next spring when you have another litter of ruddies. But before I commit, do you have some advice about bringing in another cat. Max is devoted to me (like a dog); he trusts me; and he is well-trained. He gets lots of attention daily. He has a great personality with other people, but hates the scent of other animals on people and will hiss but not scratch. He seems curious rather than territorial about the cats that wander our yard. Our house is all glass (floor to ceiling) on the west and south side, so he lives inside a fishbowl watching the wandering neighbor cats.Any advice you can give me is much appreciated. I’m very grateful to you for breeding Max. He’s been the best companion I’ve ever had.Bonnie
Diane,
Kitty is so precious!!!! We named him Milo. The car trip went ok. He didn’t freak out or puke in the car like our last cat.
Wow is he affectionate! He slept in bed with us last night and kept nuzzling my face with his chin and cuddled up and slept close by all night. He is so fun to play with. Loves to chase balls. He went to the vet today and he’s very healthy and happy. The vet said you have a very good reputation as a breeder.
THANK YOU FOR MILO!!!!!!! We love him!!!!!!

Hi Diane,
Just a quick note to let you know "Surfer" ... the kitten I got from you a week before Christmas ... is doing GREAT! I took him up north for the holidays and he didn't have any problems whatsoever. In fact, a couple days after we were there I not only took him to get his vaccine/booster, but also had the vet put in a microchip to make sure he never gets lost. Of course I'll never let the little guy outside, but it's nice to know "Surfer" has a little protection in the event he ever sneaks out. Personality wise, I don't think I could have asked for a sweeter, more delightful kitten. The thing I like most is he plays hard, but is also a cuddle-bug, who insists on sleeping by my pillow, under the covers each and every night. Tiny, my older cat, is still adjusting to the "new addition" but little by little she's shaking her "Queen of the Castle" attitude and giving into the fun of romping around the house. Even though she liked being an only cat, Tiny will probably benefit from the company. Anyway, as soon as I get a chance I'll send you some updated pictures, but figured I would at least let you know how my guy is doing. This weekend we'll be going back to the vet for the final booster and in a few weeks we'll schedule the neuter.
Have a great night and a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Sidney
Hi Diane,
I wanted to send you these pics of Chessie Blue Stewart, she was 2 in Dec. We're in Glendale, Az.
The pic on the window is Chessie and Charlotte and the other one is Chessie sleeping on Charlotte.
Charlotte mothered her until she was one year old then actually smacked her as if to say, enough with the kitten stuff. They're best buddies now that Chessie is an adult.
Chessie is still the sweetest happiest cat I've ever had and she still sits on my shoulder and is my shadow, has to be with me where ever I'm at. But like my other Abys, she's a sneaky food thief!
Just wanted to let you know she's doing well and we love her.
Happy Spring time Ronnie
